S202 Pics
#6
If you do a search on Northern Meet 5,6 or 7, in NorthernMeets, there are 2 STi S202's attending.
Pauls Yellow one, and Nigels WR Blue one (that is the one Rasher subsequently bought).
I can't remember which meet it was, probably 5 or 6, but someone took photos of all the Northern Meets I organised.
Cheers

Nigel,
I thought you had sold it to Rasher.
Didn't realise it was you being icognito.
This must be a record for you.
I didn't think you kept a car for more than 3 months LOL.
I'm still plodding about in my STi MY02 (STi 7).
I usually pop round and see Mark L on Saturday afternoons, for a cup of tea and a gab.
Last time I saw you at Marks, you had the R32, (with posh baby seats), and I assumed the S202 had gone.
Cheers

Rasher/Nigel,
Yes we must be at crossed purposes.
I remember seeing a picture of Rashers (your) car at NBO 1, with the Speedline Turini wheels and non Prodrive headlamos and recognised it as Nigels who I have met at my friends garage, and came on at least one of my Northern Meets.
I thought he had sold it, but haven't seen him for some time, then with you saying you're Nigel, I thought it must be the Nigel I met.
The chap that bought your car originally is also called Nigel, and is from the Oldham/Ashton area.
I believe he bought it from Wicked Kit (dealer).
Bit of a coincidence isn't it. Will everybody called Nigel please stand up. LOL.
Cheers

Rasher,
Well that clears that up then.
I have no idea where my Nigels car (Mr Manchesters pal) has gone then.
I don't know Paul Copley either, but Paul Gee who used to own the yellow one, sold it back to Wicked Kit some time back, and at that time it had a Prodrive STi rear spoiler in place of the original Carbon aerofoil.
Its so easy to make assumptions, and completely get the wrong end of the stick.LOL

Rasher,
The picture that Deka has posted looks like the car I was confusing yours with, but without the Speedline wheels .
From Mr Manchesters description:
Exterior
Original Prodrive Lights and Front Lip spoiler, STi Light Covers, Full Carbon Rear Spoiler.
Interior
Full Carbon Dash, Defi Carbon Guages, STi Mats, STi Stainless Sill Plates.
The lipspoiler, headlights, STi foglight covers that are a black mesh, and the
Defi Carbon Guages (or certainly some gauges in apod on the dash), all match up.
Yet another coincidence, or that might be the one I was on about.
Cheers

Rasher,
Nigels old car was 328.
And it does appear to be the same one as Deka has posted.
Its here on his company web site.
Scroll down to the bottom of the list of previously sold cars.

or click on this

This one and Pauls Yellow one above came to Northern Meet 7.
Pretty impressive turn out, as at the time there were only about 8 in the UK.
Cheers

Rasher,
Paul Gee told me that he was led to believe that Wicked Kit were importing 6 of them and Litchfields were getting 2.
And all the rest had been sold in Japan.
I believe Yellow is the rarest colour in the UK. Paul had one, and think there may have been one more.
At the time only 8 new S202's were coming into the country.
Wether any more have since found their way in as secondhand Jap imports would be difficult/impossible to find out.
If you contact Wicked Kit the owner should be able to clarify the status at the time he was importing them.
It is definately a rare car in the UK. More so than 22B's.
Cheers
