My new WR1
OK, it's Rum*'s, but it's nice to dream...
The colour of the car is nearly sky blue, with some turquoise for good measure and a lot of silver. Capturing the colour will be nigh-on impossible as no image will do it justice. It does look good tho!
The camera that took these is for sale
Cheers,
Nick.

Glad someone understood the plate without it being explained
BTW, there's no paranoia about the plate being viewed - it's there to be viewed
...and who says that it's grim up north?

Very Nice !!
Your right about the pictures not catching the actual colour, as I was at Keith Price's on Saturday and I was checking one out up there that some lucky devil has bought and the colour does look great in the flesh indeed !!
My only one critisim on the whole car is the square lock on the boot lid itself, ok I know its only a lock but the smaller the better in my book.... other than that what a car !! and you really need mud flaps with those larger wheels to stop the marks up the side of the car... nice one !!
Whats the first mod going to be then ???????????????????

Well, it isn't my car, but my money has already said that the Tart in Rum* will insist on a dump valve. Oh, and white "side lights" as at the moment they're yellow which is a shame with the other light set up.
The camera that took these pics is now sold
Cheers,

Ummmmmm.....lovely :-)
Well what can I say...first of all a big thank you to Subaru Japan, Subaru UK, Prodrive and Crossroads (Tredington) Ltd for everything they have done to produce, import, tweek and finally PDI and handover a cracking car!!
To be fair I have only done 575 miles since picking it up on Saturday, but I have to say that so far the WR1 is the best Impreza that "I" have owned to date ... the acceleration is effortless and smooth...strangely it feels that the steering is lighter than my last...turn in is great..again probably no different to the last, but strangely it feels better ... it sounds awesome...especially when on full boost and yes still running it in....so not going above 6500 revs... ...
The mudflaps are indeed logo'd with "prodrive" and look sweet...I believe they are the same design as the STI ones...however have heard today that they may not be readily available at dealers....perhaps someone could correct me ??!!!
The front lip is lovely as well and IMHO makes the car look and sit better to the eye ...however be wary of the roadside!! It does lower the car and you are likley to damage it if you ever get to close...
Internally I have a new Alpine single din system with some uprated speakers...I know nothing about ICE, but what I do know is the sound is much better now
Also Smartnav and Nokia Bluetooth hands free kit...oh, and a Dipol Barrierlock system to keep my insurers happy ...
Next week end I'll give you an update following the first service which will probably mean I'll be upto well over the 1000!!!

Flaps ...
Nick,
To be honest I was offered either STI or Prodrive mudflaps....I decided to go for the Prodrive ones...I hadn't seen them before and I fancied a change....he he he....they seem to have caused a bit of a stir....but I'm sure they're available from dealers....cos thats where I got mine from...
