Tony,
I am quite surprised that you don't consider the WR1 to be a 'proper scoob'.
I am very happy with the purchase of my new car and also see myself as being very lucky to be one of only 500 people that have the pleasure of driving one.
With regards to the JDM car not all of us want to get involved with imported vehicles, I now have peace of mind that should there be any problems with the car it is covered under a comprehensive warrenty that is in place.
Why would I want to get a JDM car? And have you been out in a WR1 yet?

Mr Burns is only winding you up Mark - the winks give it away.
Your car looks very nice and I am sure goes like a dream.
I am one of the JDM fanatics purely because I prefered the bonus power, the little extras and wasn't concerned about warranty, taking it to a main dealer or insurance.
Each to their own....enjoy.

Went out in one today felt very eager even only upto 4k revs as running in. Still has the lovely subaru/prodrive sound to it burbly then the rauchy rasp noise when it really starts shifting will be quick when its run in!!
Was expecting it to be silver but when it turned the corner it had more blue to it than silver changes slightly in the light. Seemed to handle and respond well to steering input. Lovely car. Just a shame they did not have a nice WR1 badge for the boot instead of the stickers on the front wings.but that is nit picking......

Looks good - the more I see it, the more I like it. The colour looks so much better outside rather than when viewed in the NEC.
