StevieB, do you live round there? Its just that we stayed in Cirencester in a pub with B&B and got talking to the landlord about Kemble track day etc.He was saying that he has a mate who participates with his scoob and it goes like hell !

No wasnt me, I went on Saturday - didnt see any other scoobs just a supra
The B-2 flyover was cool although would have been good if it came over twice. The B-1B was also impressive - cant believe something which looks so up-to-date will be out of service before the B52.
Havent been to an airshow for about 20 years.... will be going again next year

Mirage 2000 and Eurofighter were cool too.

Just the UFO look of the black beauty "Stealth" was so glorious !
They didnt land at all apparently. They came from Missouri, stayed in the air (followed by 4 bombers) and flew back!
The pilot of "Stealth" is so jammy ...

How much noise do these things make? I've seen the B2 fly over my house a few times (4 miles from Mildenhall) but always with a fighter escort. Are they really quiet?

I remember seeing one doing a display when i was in the states, they are pretty quiet, really impressive aircraft,. its just like a long wooooosh as it passes, not like our Tornados that just go RAAAAAAAAAA as they do a high speed pass.
Well thats my really technical explanation lol

F-117A Nighthawk is pretty quiet on approach, and not that loud when it passes, think it's part of the stealth 'idea'
Being pedantic for a moment, I though the "new one", in regards to stealth planes, was the F/A 22 Raptor? Can't remember how stealthy it is, or meant to be though.
My fave stealth plane has to be SR-71 Blackbird. Anyone want the Flight manual for one?
