eBay Headers
I'm looking into getting a new set of headers. I'm probably gonna get my headers and up-pipe ported off Harvey as i have heard good things about these but....
i just wondered if anyone has fitted some of the cheaper eBay headers and got significant gains and reliability (no cracks leaks etc after 3 mths)?

Get some decent headers, many Ebay jobs are a waste of time. If you search you will find countless examples on here of people that have purchased OBX, Megan racing or nameless cheap headers, and had to replace them within a year.
If you can't stump up the £400 or so for some good ones, just go with ported standard ones.

Cheers for the advice,
Think i'm defo gonna go for some of Harveys ported headers and up-pipe just wanted to know if any of the eBay ones are any good. Because as you say i have read mulltiple threads on here about the cheap eBay headers cracking and busting flexi joints.

I put some of the megan headers on my last scoob, they did make a good change in performance but made the engine sound quite tinny. oh yeh, and they havent cracked yet in almost a year!
