Thought that was a bit odd also asked the guy some questions about the engine, had it been rebuilt etc for this kind of power with a uk lump? come back and said that it has been rebuilt by Jap Innovations with 8grands worth of trick bits forged pistons/rods HKS cams etc, now when i looked at the posts from when Rich owned the car to get a bit of background could find nothing about this bulit proof engine and none when kev owned it? so that means this new owner has spent 8k on the engine and now selling it a week later for 8k again? some thing odd here. Also said that its making 390bhp at the wheels! with a TD05 16g? think im going to leave this car be... shame, looks nice but too far for me to go to get messed about, thanks for all your help chaps hope every has had a good day.

This car recorded 381 bhp at the flywheel in my presence at Well Lane. This was over three years ago. At the time it had standard internals, so if it hasn't had a rebuild leave well alone.

Try again
https://www.scoobynet.com/private-sa...90+bhp+classic

The ebay advert looks like it is being sold by a dealer now and is trying to make some profit over the price that Kev was after.

The advert says it will it is due an oil change. If it has hit the 90k miles mark then the service is far from just oil, it is a major and expensive bit of work.

The mileage on the car will be in the excess of 100k.

Then someone is being a bit naughty - the Ebay advert is stating 90k.
