Default Scoobynet causing explorer to crash?

Has anyone else had this problem? The computer at home, laptop and work computer all sometimes have problems when viewing this site, explorer just crashes and pops up the microsoft "report error" window..

There must be something on the page that its having issues with.

I was suspecting the isolated bing-bong switch wasnt correctly aligned with the fru-fru valve.

I've run a third-level diagnostic, to no avail.

You obviously have an IT background dave, but I have researched the Inland Petting address manager or "IP" and it bounces back with a bing bong, but the fru-fru valve remains stationary

I refuse to use firefox, it runs so bloody slow! Firefox is for Linux Geeks and Anti-Microsoft nerds.

LOL It most certainly is not.

A lot of what Microsoft did in IE was not strictly to the standards dictated by the various Internet engineering bodies - hence the reason that on some sites you will have problems.

Firefox ain't perfect, but it is coded to the correct standards - I use it all of the time - never had a problem with Scoobynet.

There is a memory leakage issue with FF that can lead to it eating a lot of memory (mind you, if you use MS products, you should be used to that, as so many have done it in the past). If you're worried about FF taking a bit of time to open, just use the Firefox Preloader which will make things a lot faster.

Use Faster Fox to make pages load quicker (but don't use the nasty turbo option, which breaks all the standards and will overload servers).

This is winding me up now!

I manage to click about 4 or 5 links and I keep getting the error box pop up and the browser closes.

Only SN does this.

......or maybe it's one particular ad??

Every now and then I manage a whole 10 clicks before the error.....I'll post the error "code" next time.

Although sn is getting all slow and buggy for me too. Maybes its the 300 terabytes worth of advertising slowing stuff down
