Default Leather repair

has anybody tackled this?

i have a 3 seat and 2 seat sofa to "learn" on but i have no idea what kit would be best, the seats have cat scratches and will need some kind of dye or filler in them to do the job.

this is a service i would like to offer at work in the future, as long as i get the hang of it

seams like there is hundreds of different techniques oput there

Not something we have gotten into yet, so no clue I'm afraid - conditioning is as far as we go.

Been given a lead to a local company that can supply dye kits to recolour leather, including full colour change

will be testing a kit out soon to see how it fares

Red face

Not intended to sound like a "plug" but Swissol do a leather repair kit and also can supply many colours to match from stock. Worst case scenario they will match your colour from a "sacrificed" piece from somewhere unnoticed!
Give Richard a call and ask for a colour chart.

i have taken lots of pics, the 3 seater is now awaiting one more coat (tonight's work) then a coat of sealer to seal in the colour, then its good to go

i have had to order extra colour dye and a few other bits and bobs as i ran out, will post a full report when its finished (maybe tomorrow )
