Has anyone tried these 2 things? I've already got PIAA wipers on my car and I'm pleased with the results no matter what others opinions are on these. Looking at something to try on my wife's car. I see they are now doing a screen wash, cleaner and also a protect coat.
I tried Rain-X before and its good until it starts to wear off and makes it worse to see when dark and raining. Does the PIAA stuff work like the sachets of stuff included in the wiper kits?
Andy.

I clayed the wife's screen after a horrible long distance trip in heavy rain and darkness the other day and it still seems to have random lines which you can only see when the wipers sweep. Any ideas what else to try to make it crystal clear, has had Rain-X on it sometime back would have thought claying it would sort it.

The standard version is fine, Strong just has more chemical cut to lift the really engrained muck, so your choice really. A 4" white polishing pad is ideal, but a 4" orange light cut pad is also fine if you have a lot of bonded bug guts and stuff that is proving awkward to shift.

Had PIAA's on before and used them in conjunction with Rain X and prior to that Bosch wipers and Rain X, these started to smear and leave streaks but then again the wipers were probably 14 months old and should be replaced every 12 months.
Cleaned the windows with normal carwash shampoo, Meguirs stuff, then a proper clean with Rain X window cleaner.
Rinsed, dried and the wiper sachet cloth thing used and wipers fitted and per instructions, ie dry wipe for 5 minutes.
Screen then wiped with a clean cloth and PIAA clean/protect solution applied.
Basically its just like Rain X, water simlpy sheds off and no more smears.
This is probably down to the new blades though.
A lot of work for something that appears just as effective as using Bosch Blades and Rain X, though I found the PIAA's didn't crack or split like rubber does.

I've put it on my car and my wife's car too. Not really rained to test it properly but it has seemed to have removed the random marks I had on my wifes car and she commented today how clear the screen was after constant use of the washers with all the salt coming up off the road today in her car. I hadn't told her I'd put it on. I got mine from Direct Car Parts for £19.95 inc VAT & delivery. It arrived within a couple of days too.
Not used the screenwash yet as I'm waiting for the current stuff to run out - it won't be long with the roads like they are at present.

You should try this stuff by Einszett,it works wonders on my screen and you add it to your washer bottle like an additive
