I have a Covercraft cover for MY97 wagon and am very pleased with it. Not cheap but worth it.

Get a good one tho. If they don’t fit well then they can do more harm than good. I had one for my old car and the wind made it scratch / rub the paint in places.

The Covercraft ones are taylor made to the car, mine is a STi wagon (classic) and it cost about £300 18 months ago.

SSS,

Excellent price, £84.05 exc Delivery and VAT.

I suppose the quality isn't as good as the Covercraft ones, but you can afford for it not to last as long at that price.

I'm very tempted to try one of these.

If you had a big double garage and you did not use the car for a few weeks at a time maybe a £300 cover could be justified but it's a lot of cash to spend... you certainly would need to cover under lock and key at night for fear of someone pinching it

I do not have a garage and the car is only used on 'high days and holidays' so a good cover was a must, it was alot to spend but it is completely weather proof but breathable and was made to measure so fits exactly. The cover came with a lock (which I use).

I must say after having it for a couple of years I am pleased I spent the extra on it, I had a cheaper universal fit one before this one and was forever having to retrieve it and put it back on because the wind had blown it off (I have never had to even readjust the covercraft) it only lasted about 4 months and it was ruined and had to be replaced, I guess you get what you pay for really.

Apoligies I did not mean anything by that

My budget does not allow me to stretch to a custom made cover here, hence having to look at slightly more conservative options. Mine is under a carport so even though it's out of direct weather it still gets damp and wind on it.
One of the guys has a custom one on his Lotus and yes the quality does stand out a mile, you do get what you pay for that is true
My main problem is the cat sitting on the roof then slidding down the windscreen

No offence taken

Under a carport you might find a universal cover will do the job very well
