Default Used a claybar or the first time today....

Ive had the day off today and the weather was'nt bad either so I went a got myself a claybar (Meguiars Quik Clay).

First washed the car with the two bucket method (Meguiars gold class shampoo)

Dryed with natural leather.

Then started on the roof with the clay, Got to say it was quite hard work but what a job it makes
Smooth as a babys

Then applied Meguiars 3 stage polishs and topped it off with Meguiars gold class high gloss.

I only got time to do the roof and the bonnet but using the clay bar has given a new kind of shine so much better than before and I thought my paint was clean.........

Just need time to finish the rest of the car now......

Glad it went ok for you one bit of advise though ditch the leather and replace it with a waffle weave - you wont look back - you will soon get the cleaning bug and step up the polishing a little

Nice one! Claying is one of those weird processes; when you first see a clay bar you think 'WTF, I'm supposed to rub that on my car?', but then you use it, see the results of what it does, and it makes perfect sense!
