Default Karcher or Gilmore?

Hi I am looking into buying either a Karcher pro foam lance or a Gilmore foam gun. Is one better then the other or is it down to personal choice

Hi mate,

If you have a Karcher I can highly recommend the autobrite foam lance... I got mine last week and together with the super snow foam gives the car a thick snow bath...

see my other post below on here about super snow foam

Not a huge amount of difference, I have a Karcher for personal use which I find excellent, and we use a Gilmour on customer cars (mainly because we also use it to apply other dilutable products like APC's and degreasers, which I don't need to use on my own car). Karcher is better if your water pressure is poor, as Gilmour foam rate depends on pressure.

Aye, should work fine, as long as you can put a ~4:1 (water:shampoo) mix into the lance (not sure on the design of the Autobrite lance, so make up the solution first and pour in as much as needed).
