How often do suby owners wash their cars?
well... let me start off by saying that your weather is absolute madness! i moved here in october....and i live near farms, and own a white MY06 impreza so whenever i wash my car, by the time i get home its brown again.
in america i washed it once a week... but here... i may have to revise that plan.
just wondering how you guys do it.

Welcome to England my friend!
Once a week, but in this weather it all seems pointless doesnt it? If ya washed it every time it looked dirty, there would be no time for anything else! One question for you Steve, why did ya leave the USA to come here?
Sean.

Where abouts were you in the states then Steve? Where's ya Hood.
I used to love it, but now i have had enuff of getting taxed to the hilt and gettin f*ck all in return! I cant even afford to buy a bigger house for my growing family, because house prices are outrageous. But i guess thats life. Happy washing Steve.....oh and Merry Christmas.

I'm with Wurzel Don't wash it for tree months after the rally, love that filthy rally slag look. I find if you haven't got enough time to do the whole car then just clean the wheels, makes it look a lot cleaner from a distance. <Viz mode on> Or just clean one half so that 50% of people think its clean <Viz mode off>

I hardly wash mine. Maybe three/four times a year? Just add a capful of car shampoo, fill the bucket to the brim and throw it over the car (excluding the bucket ) and let the rain do the rest.

my 03 Sti is washed three times a week iand waxed once aweek n winter.
Roo is washed twice a week in summer and waxed twice a week.
I also use the Super guard/anti-stone chip {diamond bright} every six months, you probably think i am mad, but the results are amazing.
It has got polish on it now, but it has to be left on for 2 hrs, if you love your car you should look after it

get your coat on and give your car a bit of tlc you will feel the warmth inside, plus whilist the wax is drying you can sit infront of the fire with a brew and use the net just like i am.
