SPOTS ON EXHAUST
Have brown/black spots on my stainless steel backbox and centre section. Polished them with Autosol which brings a great shine but will not remove the spots. Don`t know if they are tar spots or something actually in the metal. Anyone know how to solve this problem?

Someone's slagging this post in another thread as being **** - I'm perfectly happy to confess to being obsessed with my Scoob - and would recommend Brasso to get rid of the tar spots! Halfords also do an own brand tar/insect foam remover - which works really well on the body work - but didn't seem to do much on the exhaust. Brasso is the way forward.

It makes me laugh how some people think that because others take pride in the way that their cars look is ****. Just because they are incapable of understanding the pride that some people feel for their cars and lavish time on keeping them in a excellent condition. All they can TRY to do is ridicule others. WHAT A SAD LIFE THESE PEOPLE LIVE, if they have nothing better to do.
