I have got one but it started to play up and wasnt sure whether to go for the gilmour or go all out and get another PW and foam lance. I dont really use the washer for anything else so if the gilmour was as good I was just gonna get one of them, any votes for the gilmour?

The best thing with the Gilmour is the manouvreability.
I once had a chat with Rich from PB and he admitted to using
his Gilmour as the suds application as apposed to a bucket.
You can have the Gilmour in one hand and your wash mitt in the other
making it pretty practical. With the lance it's that bit more cumbersome
but it's the same old argument if you've got a pw then get a foam lance
otherwise the Gilmour is a good substitute, you'll just never get the
suds that the lance can produce.

As above, as a wash tool to replace the suds bucket, the Gilmour is awesome, and one of those must have products I would not be without! But for pre-wash foaming, pressure washer foam lances always do more cleaning with their thicker, clingier foam.

Err, if you mean me, I've switched off my inbox, as I can't always get on here every week, and I don't like folk thinking I'm ignoring them! I'd rather folk get me by e-mail or phone, details at the top of the car care section.
