Default Exhaust Cleaning

Anybody got a good way of cleaning the black exhaust deposit (like soot but seems baked on) off a stainless exhaust....

autosol always works for me.

i done mine with some fine grit wet n dry sand paper and finished it off with autosol and megs metal polish

P21S polishing soap seems to do quite well for me.
