We've just created a new YouTube channel to host our existing detailing videos and lots of new video content which will be added over the coming weeks and months. Before we go much further, can a few of you please test the video link below; we've uploaded in full 1080p HD and we'd like to see how many of you can view this format without any lagginess or skipping on normal broadband connections. If all seems well we'll adopt this format from now on, but if not we'll scale back to 720p... thanks in advance!

Unfortunately very skippy for me, I've got a good wired broadband connection. It reminded me of my youth in the club with strobes mash up

 

I wouldn't worry too much. Skippy for me but I just bumped it down to 480.

 

Cool, thanks for the feedback so far - to those that experienced skipping and lagginess; was this only on 1080p or on 720p too?

Even with my new super duper speed of 2.5 meg (used to be 0.13) the HD version wouldn`t download quick enough but fine on 480 ;-)

 

Good for me (router sync'd @ 15.5mb), personally 720p would be fine tho... no real need for 1080p even when viewing on the TV

skipping like mad on 1080 for me perfect on 720 so clear.

 

Like everybody else a bit skippy on full screen at 1080 but great on 720. Suspect it's the video card and/or screen in my laptop though as it's OK not on full screen and speedtest.net is reporting 14MB download speed WITH the video still streaming. I'll try and remember to have a look at home later on the media pc.
