Forza 5 players?
Just wondering if anyone still playing it. And if anyone fancies joining the Subaru League. It's already set up just finishing the last weekend of a season but will be doing it straight away again before summer kicks in so be looking at the 22nd for the restart
Runs every Sunday was after TopGear but as seen recent events might move it to 8pm on Sunday if it get's pulled for a long period of time just hope it's back on sooner though should last an hour. It's only a bit of fun with a bit of competitiveness thrown in

I'll be up for this, my gamertag is Oi Oi JC
One thing I have to say though is because I live out in the sticks I don't have fibre bb am still on 7mb cable, the ping isn't too bad though & I don't get any problems playing cod online but if the lobbies turn out to be laggy I will bow out graciously

Haha me too mate I share the pain I've missed out twice on points for the league table because of my internet and only just this morning had Openbreach around again to sort a problem But as I said it's all for the fun
I guess links would be good.
this is the Table and Calendar.
http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forum...ason-calendar/
And this is where everyone's chatting about the league
http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forum...orza-5-league/
welcome to join other parts of the forum of course but just so you can see.
And a Youtube video. Had 3 people not make it on this night but we raced anyway We do have some Evo boy's come on too But their always at the back

What did you use to capture that video?
The B class build that you have to download, are you allowed to make adjustments to the tune to get the car to handle how you like as long as you don't change any parts?

2 of us have the hauppauge hd pvr 2 good bit of kit bit like the GoPro you don't use them all the time but handy if you like to get the odd few bits. Just a pain sorting the editing out can be a big powerPC hunger editing. But as said before the internet slows my uploads up
And this is the 4th or 5th season from Forza 4 and after the first season had a few moan about people who can and can't tune so had to make it a bit formula 1. So no any Subaru car race event's can't be altered, and have to use the tunes done by Scoobyghost am afraid I wanted class A but was overruled but they're not in anyway to be changed unless an advantage from one is greater than the others, we try to keep it all fair as it is meant for fun only. Was only started for X factor for us blokes but seems it took off but summer drops off mainly because I'm outside BBQ and drinking . This should hopefully keep that even without changes. But to balance it on alternative weeks it's F1 cars and RWYB ( Run What You Brung) As bonus events after the 3 main events. Now the F1 cars I've never tuned not sure if they can but Run what you brung can be tuned to how you like or bought, and changes the class each week so could be R or B class one week then next week be A and D. I randomly pick them but will keep what we have this now this season over to next. Might sound a bit complicated but it's easy really. You're welcome to join us on Sunday if you want I'll keep it as a 9pm start this week with no top gear so not to break the mold. Just to get to know us I'll add you when I'm on next.
But as I said really it's more for the laugh. Organised chaos really But a few of us enjoy it and gives us something to be Scooby related

Ok that's cool I understand about keeping the build the same & not changing any parts but I may not like how scoobyghost hast tuned his car to handle & might want to change damper or anti roll bar settings or alter the spring weights to make the car handle how I like it to, is that not allowed then?

To be fair I'm not overly happy they understeer like mad for me. But it was decided if they're all kept identical nobody could moan about advantages. But it can be re looked at after this weekend I guess see what's best. The main problem was we have a few members that don't tune at all and was quick to get upset and start to not show when we was doing Forza 4 so we changed it to one tune for each car. And people was more happy with it. I had done some Aclass tunes but people didn't like that they was a bit to hard to handle with the extra power so was voted to B class.

We did it on Forza 4 some videos still on youtube of that But wasn't huge again about 5 or 6 of us. Biggest issue is getting everyone on every sunday we have one that loves the Pub on a sunday but does try to get on lol broke his ankle running back from the pub to make it in Forza 4... Now thats dedication Brog sometimes works sunday nights. But we still race anyway I tried to make the points so nobody can run away too much with it. But bad internet connection I missed two weeks but with more players should balance it out and make for some good fun

I downloaded ghosts 22b soc build & find it drives quite nice albeit a bit slow, haven't tried his other builds yet but looks promising

Yeah they're good don't use it as much as I thought I would but great for the highlights
The tunes are all done to try keep them all the same as in speed and handling takes a bit of time tuning them to keep them all as close as possible but seems to work well

No problem Tidgy you can come and join us if you get it sorted later on. But we do have the Top Gear Test Track you could do just send me a picture or a Screenshot of the lap time and to confirm it was done in a standard 22b
http://uk.subaruownersclub.com/forum...ack-lap-times/
And nice one I used the BRZ once in a race was pretty good fast on the straights slidey on the corners though. That was me in the hatch on the video as you can see I buggered up the start lol but found it ok to race with finished 2nd

Haha yeah easily done mate I swear I've never got sooooo frustrated just little parts can scruff the lap up. I found if you start a lap bad if you can rewind back to near the hammer head or before the follow through and don't flag it up it will start clean again. But I will admit it's a near on controller breaker that

Just a reminder if any of you have liked the look of it be this Sunday 9pm start again just in case TopGear makes it back on in the upcoming weeks
And JC aka Goatblower was in the silver hawkeye and raced dam well if I do say so myself. I looked at all the replay footage didn't see you cut any corners and held line perfect when driving for positions

Dude that sucks I hope you get it sorted sooner rather than later I'm well up for some racing when you get back online
