Had the Vive for a year.
After the initial wow (and that's pretty big), I've settled into three games I play a lot.
Gaming on the VR is not comparable to regular gaming - more so with roomscale.
There aren't that many killer titles out at he mo. Saying that Doom VFR has just come out

Loving Skyrim and Batman right now but there is so much more to explore - I think it's worth taking the plunge.

I seriously considered getting the full PC setup but I just couldn't be arsed in the end.
From what I could tell there is not much in it between oculus and Vive apart from Vive is better for the whole room thing. I always originally thought the Oculus was the clear winner but my mind changed just because of the ability to move about a bit more with the vive
