I'm getting really p1ssed off with this error now, can't seem to find a fix for it
Can anyone help me?

are you using the latest driver for your graphic card? check asus and nvidia for the drivers, or install one or the other drivers. remove the card, check the contacts and insert it again.
what happens after you get the error message? can you still use the PC? you can turn off the error message. goto start /control panel /system / advanced /error reporting and click on disable error reporting.

Already tried all those things m8
Latest drivers are installed, my PC is all up to latest patch levels aswell.
I remember a post a while back saying it was a known problem, would have thought a fix would be out by now.

I forgot search was back
Found DJDunk's post of "leaked drivers", just reinstalled using this driver, seems to have booted up ok so lets see if this works...

This is a common problem with Nvidia/AMD/XP combo....I don't think there is actually a cure but there are was of reducing the incidents of it.....search Google for nv4.dll and you'll see a lot of info from VIA regarding chipset settings and memory..
