whenever i have been playing jedi2 or MOHAA, and go to shut down it just restarts. but if i use another app after playing games and then shut down it shuts down ok.
i can live with it but i wondered if any of you boffins have an answer.

what OS are you using? if it's windows 98, goto start/ run/ and type msconfig. i think on the first tab, click on advanced. there should be something like disable fast shutdown. un-check that.

could be 3D related = driver related.

try downloading latest drivers for your graphics card (this is different to directx incidentally)
