I have changed some directory permissions on one of our virtual web sites in IIS. Every time that server is rebooted the settings default back to what they were originally.

Any ideas? Server is Win 2000

Get your latest updates for it off Microsoft's website which addresses issues like that.

Is the machine actually shutting down properly? Sounds like the registry changes aren't being committed to disk
