I have three columns in an Excel spreadsheet Title, FirstName and Surname. Is it possible to merge the three columns together and keep the data.

nope, u can merge, but it will only keep the data from the 1st column i think.

Yes, you can use the concatenate formula:

eg. =CONCATENATE(A1,B1,C1)

Just put the formula in column D.

I normally insert additional columns between the columns I want to merge, fill them with a single space then merge all of the columns together. This will seperate the words with a space. You can then copy and paste values to get the data merged.

Dunk - have you tried CONCATENATE(A1," ",B1," ", C1)?

Also works, and saves columns
