I'm after about 100-200 CDR's and wondered if there were any places with deals on?
I can make do with 100, if they are cheap my brother will have 100 as well.
Spindle is find, although ideally 50 on spindle and 50 in cases.
Thanks
Andy

£12 from SVP.
You do take pot luck in getting 74 or 80 min cd's though
If you want to go for 80 minute CDR's, then its just less than £20 including postage.

Can you confirm the reliability of the CD's though.
From my experience, the more you pay, the more reliable they are.
Then again, bought 100 16X for £20, and they work 100% @ 16X and 80% @ 24X.

Thanks for all your help guys!
I'm from the old school of CD burning where I'm use to buffer over/under run errors!! So I have lots of coasters!
Problem is after 5 years (and new technology), I'm still in the habit of buying the cheapest disks out there!

I assume somewhere down the line we're related!
Although Alan Tang is a man who started out tuning Honda's and moved on to most Japanese cars. I think he owns Pow:R although I don't know him personally, I know of his reputation.

Im using BULKPAQ Branded 80 minute CDR's at the moment that i picked up from a local computer fare for £19
Ive burnt about 10 disks so far at 40x and havnt had any problems with any disk yet.
Andy what CD burner are you using ? I was using a Rioch 6x burner that cost me over £200 but ive just bought a Liteon 40x burner with Burn proof for £47 and find its alot better than my old Rioch.
Priced for CD burners have realy droped over the last 6 months so if your getting buffer under run errors maybe its time for a new burner ??

Andy,
What I meant was I bought a few CD writers in my time, but I still remember when it was fecking expensive for a 2x writer and I was getting some very expensive coasters!!! Since then I expect more coasters and haven't had any for about 18 months now!!
Making do with my SCSI TEAC 8x writer. Does the job with no issues and buffer errors have been a thing of the past since buying it!

Bought my 40x writer for £55 a couple of months back. Can't afford not to get one at that price. Speed is upgradable to 48x too
As said, the leadout does still make the disk take longer to burn, but 40x still reduces burning time to around 2.5 mins.

Read in the paper yesterday that the British Phonographic Industry have just completed some lengthy research project which took months to complete, the result of which proves that there is a direct link between the increase in the number of pirate CDs circulating in the United Kindom and the popularity of CD burners.
