FSB Question
#1
Not content with a p4
The FSB is all down to the motherboard. If your board doesn't support it then you have to get a new one. You maybe able to run a 533fsb cpu at 400fsb, depends on the voltages it needs. Even if it does work then it will be slower than what it is rated at as the multipliers will be different.
Check for bios updates etc.. for you board first. You maybe lucky.

Is it a hardware aspect or software realated?
Mines 400 at the moment
the new Northwoods say 533
Would a processor running 533 NEED 533 or work on 400 FSB?
Also can you change the BIOS settings from 400 -> 533?
Cheers
