did you register the domain with them in the first place? usually the hosting company will contact you if your domain is up for renewal. if DROE want to renew it for you, you will have to transfer it to them.
hmmm... does this consider as indirect scam?

Saw something about this on El Reg a while back.
Report them to Nominet (as they appear to be UK-based). IIRC Nominet and the police (I think) were compiling a dossier on companies like this with a view to prosecuting.

Have they moved the uk out of europe and not told anyone??? only I went to the url that PTMW linked and did a whois search of my domain name and .co.uk was not an option
Strange but I would have sworn europe covered the UK![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Advisory...
Have a number of work related domains registered (as we all do)
The above company "Domain Registry of Europe" have been sending us renewal notices of some of domains that are due for renewal in a few months time.
Looks very official & seemingly to come from the european body reponsible for domain names & the boss would've renewed with them had he not come to me!
Not a scam as such, but a very cheeky bit of marketing that might confuse/scare people into transfering their domain registrations to them![Frown](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/frown.gif)
