Can anyone recommend whether this is a good deal?

Also is using a router easier than having 2 network cards to link 2 pc's? I am clueless when it comes to things like this!

a router would be much easier to connect up more than 2 PCs and you dont have to have a "host" PC turned on all the time to share the internet connection.

the force 9 deal seems OK. adsl prices are there about, £20 something.

Try checking out www.plus.net they are offering bundles of hardware (if you sign up with them).

PlusNet and Force9 are one and the same company (or at least they are both owned by the same company). The 'starter pack' deals they offer are the same, and on the forums on adslguide.org both Force9 and PlusNet customers use the PlusNet forum.

I went with PlusNet as Force9 are still running on a 34MB line, whereas PlusNet have moved over to a 155MB line (I think they are the right numbers ). Force9 are moving over to the 155MB line soon, but how soon is anyone's guess...
