Just installed IE6 updates from microsoft --> now all the banner ads come up with a red cross and click here message......
Gone into options and display everything is checked - any ideas?

Are you running Tweak-XP or ZoneAlarm3? The reason I ask is that both of these programs have the ability to turn off pop-ups and adverts. Because banner ads (generally) come from the same servers as pop-ups, they are also stopped from displaying.

There are probably many other programs that can do this, but they are two that I use.
