Just tried it for the first time, on a bunch of office workstations running Athlon 1700XPs and GeForce 2 MX cards.

Lovely and smooth on each individual machine.

Then tried mutliplayer game where I hosted.

Everything runs as usual, but the host's computer can only get 3frames per sec.

Question - IS this normal for the host to be so slow ?

hmmm, not really, there is a lot of tweaking that can be done in core.ini, have a look at the settings, here are some links to help you. PS top game aint it
