VPN on a USB ADSL modem

Anyone know if it is possible to create a VPN connection using a USB ADSL modem (BT openworld).
I can do it with a NIC or with a real modem, but can't see how to get the ADSL modem to "bind" to a connection.
I'm using W2K Pro and Cisco VPN client v.3.6.

me using XP on a dial-up and can use XP VPN to connect to my friend's server connected to ADSL. my other friend can also connect to the server via cable modem as well and vice versa.

LOL! I have never come across an engineer to ever ask for your account details. I have always found them to be left on with their test settings when first installed.
