Thumbs up

I've used BT Anytime for about 2 years. Not bad, until they started to talk about these 15-hour-per-month restrictions. I only ever really use 'em during office hours, though. I've heard they can be busy during evenings and weekends.

blueyonder 1mbit cable

Used to have their dialup which was great - got the full 56k out of it and it only used to disconnect you about once every 2 weeks ( i left it permanently dialled-in)
My gf still uses it and i think its great for £10 if you can't get/afford a proper connection.

Telewest/Blueyonder half meg cable modem at home!

3 days on downtime in 14 months. Still over 99% of uptime!

BT Anytime at home.

Marginal about fitting under the new 150 hour cap though. If they kick me off, then FE and I'll find somebody else.

Demon since '96. 120 a year I think, always get 50k connection speed which is enough for me, any big stuff I bring down at work.

Got (dare I say it) Pipex 512 ADSL at work, and NTL 600 Cable broadband at home.

No problems with either, but usual gripes with customer service response times!
