Anyone know a utility I can use to make a registry permissions change to HKLM on NT4.

Err, doesnt the standard registery editor do this? i.e. "regedt32"

Yeah - but I need to roll out the change to lots of people so need a script attached to login script or to the wininstall package I'm using.

In regedit just click on the node you require and select Export registry file, that will generate a .reg file which can be run to update the keys on multiple machines as part of an install script.

Yeah - I've done that to add the entry with REG /add etc., but that doesn't let me edit the permissions on that key.

Don't matter as admin - it's for the users. You can export a key, and re-import it - but the default permission is special access and I need full control on this entry for users.

Anoyne know any good registry sites?
