Help -

I've used gamespy for a few years now with no previous problems but recently I've got some strange behaviour with a few of the games links.

Particularly half-life, the one I used to use the most

When I select the Icon on the LHS I just get a black background where all the servers used to be. Non of the options are there to select which room/mod etc. just a big black background (in a border) where everything used to be.

I've re-installed etc with no luck, its strange since some of the other games work fine (RTCW etc.)

Any ideas?

Do you get a line at the very top saying something about updating a .swf file in the background?

If so, the bad news is despite several emails to GameSpy's (effing useless) support staff and several reinstalls, clearing registry entries, clearing files, etc. it took a complete reinstall of Win2K Pro before I got it working again :-(

Not the answer you wanted I'm sure - IF that's the symptoms you're seeing. Believe me, I was pi**ed off myself :-|

Yes it was saying updating.

I have managed to get it working again - I installed an old version then installed the current version on top of it.

Seems fine (for now).

btw. that gametiger site looks interesting - cheers
