Why not a GameCube?
Got one today. Mario Sunshine is the business and you have Zelda to look forward to.
Both exclusive to the Nintendo
Fair enough, you can't chip it but hey...copied games are illegal anyway

Looks like for my purposes it may well be the XBox. Haven't got a spare grand to spend on back catalogue games, so the lack of games on the XBox doesn't worry, as long as there are a few good ones! Never even considered the Game Cube or N64 as I just assumed these were for kids (probably wrongly). From what I've read on the links the GC is more for platform and cartoon type games, which don't do it for me at all.
I've read also that the XBox will soon be redundant due to better PC hardware etc - think I'll stick with a redudant £160 console rather than a £1500 PC!
