Cool Under winXP, p4 2.0ghz mobile.... at 1600x1200 32 bit (nvidia gforce 440 go) seems a tad 'chuggy', but it doesnt really flicker... might be an idea to put a settings page with number of stars and stuff.
Perhaps move the centre point about too, so that the cluster of stars doesnt burn the monitor
What is it written in?
Richie.

Works fine on my 1.5GHz P4 with a Quadro2 graphics. Does seem to step between frames, but that looks like a calcultion thing rather than the graphics trying to keep up.
So, are you "Belgrave Computer Consultants Ltd" then ?
Cheers

Fosters,
Nah, nothing. I just have this strange perversion of checking version information on DLL, EXE etc.
Nice saver by the way.
If you want to push the effect further can I suggest the following:
1. Increase density at centre to a more globular blob.
2. Different size stars to brighten the saver.
3. Very slight motion blur on each star.
The three together will give a much big sense of depth.
Cheers

On Win2K, the standard ssavers are located in c:\winnt\system32\. However, ssavers work equally well if placed in c:\winnt\.
This doesn't appear to be a PATH thing though. Placing ssavers in any other directory on my machine that is on the path doesn't have them appearing in the ssaver dialog on Display Properties.
Cheers
