Just had this warning on an e-mail, I wouldnt have opened the attachment anyway as I NEVER do if its an unknown source.
The file top-level-msg attached to this message was found to contain the malicious virus W32.Sobig.A@mm.enc and has been removed by BT Openworld Email Protection Service powered by Symantec.
Just thought I'd warn you - do NOT open an attachement on an e-mail from Big@Boss.com

It's a big problem -- the bulk of mass-mailing worms these days will come from an email address that you may recognise. There are lots of tips on free ways to safeguard against viruses & free downloads available on anti-virus software vendor sites like:
F-Secure
Network Associates
Sophos
