Ive got WRCII and CMr3 and V-Rally 3
CMr3 - great game, graphics superb, especially in car view when raining, but pretty tough after amatuer level, only 6-7 rally's
considering there was about 3 years between cm2 and 3 you would have thought they could have made more of an effort, you HAVE to us the Focus for all championships, quite disapointed myself compared to how i felt about 2 when it first came out, the CMR series has always had this aura around it like its the best and nothing can touch it but as mentioned i think code masters took it a little easy on this one.
V rally 3 - only 6 rally's nough said in the other company.
WRCII pisses on the original although its a bit easy you do have good graphics and every round of the WRC (14) so I would make this your game of choice for plenty of fun and not its not something i have bored of compared to CMR3, also you can use whatever car u want for the championships you can create your own mini championships, this game offers far more than the other two combined, I cant be sure but i think you can have 1-4 player championships with split screen unlike the other two, can anyone confirm this.
PS1 was great for rally games but PS2 has been a bit ropey.
Best of luck in your choice
Dave

Ive been reading the reviews and it seems to be swings & roundabouts on different sites & magazines.
As I said WRC2 id £10 cheaper, plus in CM3 you only get to drive the focus in the championship, which sucks big time. Colin was obvously being screwed by ford contract at the time of the game.
Ive played GT£, and just bought Auto Modellista, which seems a bit lame - only 6 tracks! So I am gonna swap Auto Modellista using Games 10 day swap rule, and want another driving game. Ive also played TOCA race driver and lost interest. Too samey.
Any other recomendations?

WRC2 - more detail, longer rallys, more realistic, but your driving needs to be good. CLip a rock and you've had it. Cant seem to powerslide as well.
CMR3 - great game, good fun, but not enough stages/rallys, and can get a bit tiresome.
Both good in different ways. PS WRC2 is going for £20 somewhere. I bought it for £14.99 from Woollies, but they realised soon after and out the price back up![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Visit the consoles section of 5ive-o.com and ask Chrome where he got his for £20
