Have a choice of
IPX
Modem
Serial
the game is 4-5yrs old.
None of these seem to work, and id like to play a friend at this game.
Any ideas?
is ipx the same as ip?

Right so IPX is another protocol i need to install on my Ethernet card? Then it should world?
think R&A used this and i could never get it to work right.

If your trying to do this over a local LAN then you need to install IPX on each machine. It will not work over a IP network (The Internet for instances).

Last time I checked
Jeff had it right - the Internet doesn't route IPX. Its like asking if you can read e-mail with an ftp client. Its fundamentally different.
