Downloaded WinXP service pack 1 last night took ages to download (my broadband was really slow last night) and after I installed it my sound disappeared and I could not get it back!!![img]images/smilies/mad.gif[/img] So in the end I did a system restore to a point before I installed it and hey presto my sound came back
