i just bought gta3 for pc and it works fine my computer has all the spec for the game and more! but when i play i cant read any of the text it all comes up in boxes! i am running windows XP but it says on the box that it runs in XP! please help!

probably help if you provide more info re: your computer spec i.e. graphics card details...

oh and also u will always be best to call the technical support number in the manual - they can probably sort it in 5 mins...

my computer spec is:

amd athlon 2400+
512 mb ram
64 mb gforce 2 graphics card
60gb hdd
48x cd drive

so i cant really see the problem! when i start the game and arrive at the menu theres no txt just empty black boxes where the text should be and the same in game play

update to service pack 1 or download patch for here it's the bottom one.

As Mr.Cookie say's downloading SP1 for Windows XP will solve your problem. I had the same problem.

tried to download and theres some kind of a problem after installation of the driver!!! just my luck! its all in german ****! do you know anyother download sites with patches for the same problem? i would be grateful,

There is an actual microsost fix Q and a load of numbers i've got it on cd somewhere i'll try and dig it out
