What is this? I aint got a clue but heard loads of people taking about it. Told some bloke that I was getting my PS2 on the gaming trial and he replied I want to get linus on my playstation. But what is it? what are the pros and cons.

Someone explain it to me!

its an operating system linke windowsxp
but its free.
it is supposed to be more stable thats why a lot of servers run linux

Why would you want that on a playstation.

think it means you can turn the ps2 into some form of basic pc with hard drive and keyboard and connect to the internet.
If I was you forget the idea as its probably reasonably technical and theres not that much point really.
