I need a new phone that will work in the USA/Canada as im working there for a few months.

Know of anywhere that sell sim free phones at reasonable prices?

Hello

Have a look on e-bay for Motorola Timeport (quite old) or V60 / V66.

I had a Timeport and they are quite good.

my t68 worked perfectly in NY last year. They should be cheap now, as ppl have upgraded. Ebay ?

Check the place where you are going to be working to find out if they have gsm1900 coverage there.... USA is a bit patchy when it comes to GSM....

I've got a Motorolla V66 which is tri-bank, just needs setting to 1900 and it works like a charm, am using it out here in Canada, and have used it in USA too.

nokia 6610 is triband, and has poly ringtones and a colour display. My fiancee has one, great phone.

T68 is a great phone with PDA features and dictaphone type memo's etc
