![Question](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/icons/icon5.gif)
I reinstalled XP Pro (again) today at home. I made a typo and spelt my name wront when i put it in the install process and now when i look at <Control Panel><System> it shows the "Registered To" as what i entered with the mistake, and all MS programs i install have this same misspelt name in it.
I know its pedantic but does anyone know how to change it ?
Dave

Run the Registry Editor (REGEDIT.EXE).
Open HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\ SOFTWARE\ Microsoft\ Windows NT\ CurrentVersion.
To change the values of the RegisteredOrganization, RegisteredOwner, or ProductId, simply double-click on them.
Note: This will only change the registered user information for Windows, not for the applications on your system.
