Upset customer phones me - for three days they've been unable to ftp into their site (which has been running for at least a year). We check the u/n and p/w are right, I check from my side, works fine. Run through pretty much everything I can think of. In desperation I ask if he's online. The answer? "Do I need to be?"

I once worked for an ISP as a sysadmin, one customer wasn't getting any email so it fell to me to check the POP3 server. I logged in as him via telnet and saw he had a couple of hundred mails waiting so I told him to dial in and try again. "I have to dial in?" was his repsonse. Not that uncommon, it's really surprising the amount of people that seem to be completely devoid of any common sense whatsoever ![Smile](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/smile.gif)
