Keep getting some bollox about iive got a firewall running and it cant work

a) i dont have a firewall
b) the pc downstairs works fine

any ideas?

Cant play generals online either because of this



So far ive uninstalled it, repaired my IE install. Check settings.

Yeah ste, and the NTL box.

its really pi55ing me off. I dont fancy doing a fresh install. But that maybe the case

Errr hasn't the RP114 got a built in firewall? Or is that a different 114 model?

The routers factory default.

System Name :
Firmware Version: V3.26(CD.0) | 8/17/2001

Its knocking on the door of a 11-12months So if its broke it can get replaced for free hopefully!!

Thats what happened chris!!

i thought oh ill reset my connection so no errors in the game then it went wrong.

Couldnt email you to say why as i cant get into my email now either

Cant install graphics drivers because i cant see the nvidia site

seems like your dns is playing up? how does your router get the information from your isp? is yours static setup, or dhcp?

What is the DNS server of your PC?

Have you tried to manually set a DNS server for your PC?

There is obviously nothing wrong with the router if it is working fine on the other PC though!
