'Thumbnails' in Windows 2000

When I select 'Thumbnails' in Win2k it doesn't work! Just the paintshop pro icon is displayed! Can anyone help... Thumbnail views really help me sort the skylines from the impreza's on my HD!

that is all it does.. in xp it shows mini "thumb-nails" of the pictures.

Oh yes, here he comes now. What could this be flying through the sky - is it a bird, a plane, ..? It's James to the rescue.
