I'm looking at building a couple of websites and really want to use a free CMS. Everything I come across that's free seems to be very similar to phpnuke and oriented towards community type sites. Not really what I'm after. The sites are gonna be corporate info, relatively static, but I'd like to use a CMS to make updating easier.

Any suggestions/recommendations?

What type of platform are you hosting the sites on, PHP, ASP etc?

You could use a database (e.g. MySQL if a unix/linux server) to store the content, and make a simple CMS system yourself.

A simple page to upload data into the database, a page to modify existing data and an option to delete the records. Then you just need some fairly simple code to put the data into your web page.

One of these might do the job(some free ones in there):

Cheers Bill. Linux/MySQL/PHP is all good news.
