I'll keep it brief cos it's fecking embarrasing, how do i stop the MS Shortcut bar popping up on start-up? I don't get the little window when you click to exit the bar any more, i suspect because i clicked the wrong option before....
Any ideas for somone who should really have upgraded to XP by now? ![Big Grin](https://www.scoobynet.com/images/smilies/biggrin.gif)

Right click on the top (or top left - can't remember) of the stortcut bar window and left click Exit. When it asks, say no to the question of whether you want it to start automatically with Windows(obviously).

Sorry, didn't see that in you first post...
How about this then:
1) Click on 'Start', then 'Run...'
2) Type in msconfig and press return
3 Go to 'Startup' and untick the application in question (hopefully will be obvious which one that is).
This will definitely stop it loading with Windows.
