Hi folks, I have another machine up for sale, but it is one of my 'Bride of Frankenstein' specials that I built for my old man a couple of years ago. Boggo standare case and odd spec, but as solid as a rock:
Chaintech 5AGM Motherboard
AMD K6-2 500Mhz CPU (corners of heatplate ground off and main CPU heatplate lapped one day out of sheer boredom as it is well known that these puppies never really overclock)
Lapped Big Alu Heatsink and fan (new)
256MB Crucial CAS2 PC100 SDRAM (2x128MB)
8Gb Hard Drive
24xCDROM
Diamond Viper V770 Ultra 32MB TNT2 Ultra Graphics card
Aureal Vortex2 Soundcard
HP 10/100 LAN Card
2xUSB Ports ( made up by me, as the mobo didn't come with the actual interface to connect to the mobo, works perfectly
)
Acer 55 15" Monitor
PS/2 Keyboard
PS/2 Wheelmouse
The Motherboard actually has an AT Keyboard interface, but I am sure that I have an adaptor about somewhere.....
Currently running 98se perfectly and was running XP pro perfectly when my dad had it, but I did have a ata 100 card and drive in her tho.
100% stable, runs Prime95 and 3dmark 2000 all day long without grumbling.
May sound cheeky, but I was thinking £100 for her.
Same as before, I don't have time etc to arrange shipping, so hopefully buyer can come over and check/collect.
