Puff,

You have to be careful about older 802.11bs cause they sometimes dont play nice with 10/100 switches (read 4 port dsl router) I have the problem with a 3com Airconnect base unit and card. When pinged it dropped half the pings, it was unusable cause of all the dropped requests. However, put a hub inbetween the 2 units and it worked fine with a rock steady 4 ms ping.
